Regional Conference

Essex Business School, University of Essex, Wivenhoe Park, Colchester CO4 3SQ. 10am – 4pm.
Join MPs, council leaders, councillors and other members for discussion, debate, training, election preparation and networking.
Conference registration includes free parking next to the venue, tea or coffee in the morning, a paper agenda, lunch and entry to all sessions. The venue is a short bus ride or walkable from Hythe station.

- Regional report back with Chris White (Regional Chair) and John Shreeve (Regional Treasurer)

- Green Liberal Democrats fringe meeting
- Housing fringe meeting with Young Liberals
- Local party officer training
- Campaign training
Registration fee includes access to all sessions, lunch, morning tea or coffee and free parking.
Submit a motion
Conference Committee welcomes motions for debate at regional conference. The Conference Committee will timetable a selection of policy motions and all constitutional amendments that have been properly submitted.
Please email any motions you wish to be considered to conference@eastlibdems.org.uk by Sunday 27 September 2026. Please include the names and membership number (or address if membership number not known) of the proposer and seconder. This is also the deadline for constitutional amendments.

The deadline for amendments to submitted motions and secondary constitutional amendments is Sunday 11 October 2026.
