Chair – Chris White

Chris is Chair of the East of England Liberal Democrats. He is a councillor in Hertfordshire and a former Leader of St Albans City and District Council

Jacqui is Vice-Chair of East of England Liberal Democrats. She is a member in Colchester and membership and chairs Essex County Co-ordinating Committee

Jakub Makowski

Jakub Makowski is the region's Treasurer. He is a member in Colchester and a former local party vice-chair. He became regional treasurer in July 2026

Lori is Regional Candidates Chair and represents the East of England on the English Candidates Committee

Regional Secretary – Graham Whiting

Graham is Secretary of East of England Liberal Democrats, co-opted in June 2025 to fill a vacancy. He is also Secretary of St Neots & Mid Cambridgeshire local party and played a role in the PPC selection process for this new parliamentary seat. Graham has recently been a caseworker in the South Cambridgeshire constituency office.

The Regional Executive comprises:

  • the officers of the regional party
  • twelve ordinary members
  • two members elected by the Young Liberals
  • one member elected by Parliamentarians
  • one representative of each County Co-ordinating Committee (normally the county chair)
  • one representative of local parties ot covered by a County Co-ordinating Committee 
  • Chairs of regional committees if they would not otherwise be members of the Regional Executive
  • one member elected by principal local authority councillors
  • up to three co-opted members
